Our client is an award-winning global creative agency that specialises in employer branding and recruitment marketing. They are now looking for an innovative Head of Social Media & Content who will be instrumental in building on the agency’s success.

As Head of Social Media & Content, you’ll be joining an agency that works with a stack of globally-respected brands and has won shelf-loads of industry awards. You’ll help them attain more of both through a mix of bold content strategy and an impeccable understanding of how social media should be utilised for both talent attraction and retention. You’ll introduce new ways of thinking and ensure output is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility and accountability for the success of the Social Media & Content team, ensuring each account exceeds set goals and client expectations
  • Creation and sign-off of all strategy formation, as well as implementation, across respective channels
  • Lead client contact and consultation on all social and content matters. Problem solving across client accounts, as well as solution implementation and optimisation
  • Fully integrate with the goals and needs of clients across their recruitment and employer branding needs, understanding where social and content can/will play a role
  • Fully understand clients’ EVP, Employer Brand, values, design etc. and the role it plays across companies’ goals and objectives
  • Lead, manage and Support the development of a high-performing, commercially-focused Social Media team
  • Run, develop and execute ad-hoc campaigns across the agency
  • Support and influence across the agency with regards to social and content-focused pitch work, campaigns, integration and on-going activation.
  • Thought leadership principal with regards to social and content. Networking and promoting agency as an industry-leading expert across social and content
  • Lead the agency use of social paid advertising, ensuring all best practice and strategic techniques are used with the appropriate clients
  • Fully understand the effects of global trends on potential client activations and their needs. Provide robust and detailed reasoning behind all decisions
  • Leading role in promoting and expanding where Social and Content sits within the business, and where it could potentially be used with any incoming briefs and new business
  • Identify, lead on and implement new ways of working within the team, and influence across the wider agency where appropriate

 

Skills & Experience required:

 

  • Expertise across social media and content, with substantial experience in an agency environment
  • A strong understanding of Employer Branding and recruitment space
  • Proven thought leadership within the social and content field – blogs, articles, quotes, interviews etc.
  • Full understanding of all social metrics and their role within wider campaign success. Able to analyse and recommend based on any data points
  • Experience managing high-budget paid media campaigns, with knowledge of optimising, targeting and audience sets
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a number of direct reports across different job roles
  • Highly-developed interpersonal, influencing, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Passionate and energetic presenter and influencer
